Living in Kakadu

World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park is Bessie Coleman’s home.

Its crystal clear waters and lush monsoon forests make up her backyard. Like fellow traditional land owners, Bessie was born and bred in Kakadu and has a deep spiritual connection with the land.
