Backpacking in Darwin
Spectacular fiery sunsets, tall swaying palm trees, live music and colourful cocktails – life’s a beach when you work and holiday in Darwin says Italian bartender Patrizia Caddeo. Her dream of backpacking Australia brought her to the Northern Territory’s tropical capital, Darwin.
On weekdays Patrizia works at Skycity Hotel and Casino Darwin. The rest of the time she parties and mixes with the locals – from authentic cowboys at Australian outback pubs to some of the Top End’s animal inhabitants – crocodiles, snakes and giant soaring eagles.
