Fishing Seasons
The Northern Territory is an angler’s paradise with a wealth of year round fishing options. The build-up late in the year is great for billabong and estuary fishing while the run-off between March and April offers the greatest chance of catching the iconic and prized barramundi. The cooler mid-year months are perfect for reef and fly fishing while Tropical Summer from December to March offers excellent estuary fishing.
Anglers can join a tour or hire their own boat in search of the perfect fishing holiday catch.
