Colours of the Desert

He arrived more than 20 years ago and has never looked back. Steve Strike, photographer and local character, captures the colours of the outback.

From the auburn and indigo colours of Rainbow Valley and deep golden sands in Simpson Desert, to the intense ochres of West MacDonnell National Park and lush green foliage in Palm Valley, Central Australia is a photographer’s dream.

No place or day is ever the same when living in the Australian desert.
