The Lingalonga Festival will take you on a journey through Batchelor's colourful history.

Are you a local looking for a weekend escape or a visitor who wants to sit back, relax and soak up a true tropical atmosphere. Batchelor will offer both at the Lingalonga Festival on Saturday July 31 from 9am till 11pm.

The normally sleepy hamlet of Batchelor, just a one hour drive south from Darwin, will come alive with the sounds, colour and aromas of true Territory culture.

The Lingalonga Festival will take visitors on a journey through Batchelor's colourful history where you can enjoy a cultural banquet of the senses and meet some friendly locals - feather and furry.
