Uluru Sunrise and Segway

Meet your friendly guide at your hotel within Voyages Ayers Rock Resort. From here you'll travel by bus in the pre-dawn light to the base of Uluru where you will enjoy a magical sunrise and picnic breakfast at the base of Uluru

After sunrise it's time for Segway training before setting off with your guide to circumnavigate the base of Uluru. Learn about ancient culture, stop for incredible photos and marvel at Uluru. After the full Segway loop your guide will take you on a short guided walk into Mutitjulu Waterhole, where you can see ancient Aboriginal rock art.

Uluru By Segway - Self Drive Your Car To Uluru

Drive your car to Uluru and meet at the Kuniya Carpark (next to Mutitjulu waterhole).

Upon arrival, you'll be met by the friendly and knowledgeable guides. Once your small group is assembled the guides will show you how to ride a Segway, before giving you an opportunity to put your skills to the test over the Segway training course.

Once everyone is confident, you'll head off and explore the entire base of majestic Uluru, by Segway. Get up close and personal with the picturesque landscape, learn about the flora and fauna, ancient Aboriginal culture and immerse yourself in the incredible natural landscape of Uluru.

Tour Duration: approximately 2.5 hours. Includes: Segway training, Guided Segway tour around Uluru's base.

Uluru By Segway - Includes a Return Transfer To Resort

Your 4 hour tour begins with a transfer from Voyages Ayers Rock Resort to Segway headquarters at the base of Uluru.

From here your friendly guide will show you how to ride a Segway. After a practice session you'll set off around the full base of Uluru. As you Segway your guide will stop for photos and to share stories about the flora and fauna, local culture and geology of this magical place.

After completing the full loop around Uluru it's time to dismount from the Segways and walk into Mutitjulu waterhole where you can view and learn about ancient Aboriginal rock art.

Tour Duration: approximately 4 hours. Includes: Transfers to and from Voyages Ayers Rock Resort, Segway training, Guided Segway tour around Uluru's base, Guided walk into Mutitjulu waterhole.

Uluru's Best & Segway at Sunset

You will be picked up from your hotel at Voyages Ayers Rock Resort for an afternoon of adventure.

Once at Uluru your guide will show you how to ride a Segway. After a quick practice you'll head off to explore Uluru.

After a short Segway you'll stop in at Mutitjulu waterhole where you can explore on foot and marvel at ancient Aboriginal art.

You'll continue the Segway exploration, travelling to lesser accessed parts of Uluru. You'll Segway around a quarter of Uluru's massive base, stopping frequently for photos and interpretative talks.

After the Segway ride, you'll travel to the other side of Uluru, here you'll walk and explore the famous Mala Walk where you can explore some of Uluru's caves and see ancient rock art.

As the sun sinks on the horizon watch the colours begin to glow on Uluru. Enjoy sunset nibbles, a glass of sparkling wine or soft drinks. After sunset it's time to return to Ayers Rock Resort.

Tour Duration: 5hours. Includes: Transfers to/from Voyages Ayers Rock Resort, Segway training, Guided Segway tour around the most scenic portion of Uluru's base (approx 1 hour), Guided Mutitjulu waterhole and Mala walk, picnic nibbles and sparkling wine, sunset viewing.
